How To Sign Up For a PayPal Account

Before you can start selling on Ebay you need to set up both an Ebay and PayPal account. Now, PayPal has  very good step by step instructions in their customer support section. But please note you may see the option for creating a Primier Account but when you actually go in to set up the account the only options you will see are Personal and Business.

I strongly suggest that you set up a business account.  Please click on this link to walk through the steps of setting up your PayPal account.

I have also included a video for your to watch on setting up a PayPal account. Once again, there is reference to a Primer account but that option no longer exists.

FREE Shipping and One Day Handling Special Announcement From Ebay

cns_landing_additional_options_order_free

When I first heard about doing FREE shipping it sounded strange. I mean how can you do that and get a  profit.Well, actually if you do FREE shipping you need to fold your shipping cost into your selling price. People actually will search listings and use FREE shipping as search terms. I love FREE shipping because it feels less complicated. No need to figure in the cost of the item plus the shipping cost.

I just read that if you do FREE shipping you stand a good chance of having that free shipping logo appear on your listing. That’s pretty cool.

So, I am going to check my listing to see if I have that logo.

Also, if you do one day handling it helps to qualify you for Top Seller Status. Having that special status will get you lots of benefits. So read this update about both FREE shipping and the one day handling by clicking this link.
